Primavera Domiciliary Care Services Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing care. We are committed to handling your information lawfully, fairly and transparently under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why
- Enquiries and assessment bookings. Name, contact details, postcode and what you tell us about care needs. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and legitimate interest in responding to you.
- Care records. For clients we hold care plans, risk assessments, visit notes, medication records and relevant health information in our care management system (CarePlanner). Lawful bases: performance of a contract, our legal obligations as a CQC-registered provider, and, for health information, the provision of health and social care (Article 9(2)(h)).
- Complaints. Details you provide on our complaint form, used to investigate and respond. Lawful basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest in resolving concerns.
- Job applications. Name, contact details and experience, used for recruitment, including DBS and right-to-work checks required by law.
- Website analytics. If analytics or advertising tags are enabled, they measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs. Lawful basis: consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Who we share information with
We never sell personal information. We share it only where necessary for your care or where the law requires: with GPs, pharmacists and other health professionals involved in your care; with your local council and the NHS where they fund or commission care; with the Care Quality Commission and safeguarding authorities where required; and with our care management software provider (CarePlanner), which processes data on our behalf under contract.
How long we keep information
Care records are retained in line with health and social care records retention guidance, normally 8 years after care ends. Enquiries that do not lead to care are deleted after 12 months. Unsuccessful job application records are deleted after 6 months. Complaint records are kept for 3 years after resolution.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request erasure or restriction where applicable, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability. To exercise any right, contact us at info@primavera-care.com or in writing to the address above. We respond within one calendar month.
Security
Care records are held in a secure, access-controlled care management system. Staff receive data protection training and access information only where needed for their role. Paper records are stored securely at our registered office.
Complaints about data handling
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
