Aims and Objectives
We strive to achieve our aims and objectives under the strict regulations of Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Our services will help the people who use them by:
1. promoting independence through the provision of personal and social care as well as support to people in their own homes
2. Supporting and enabling life skills gain and remain where appropriate
3. working in partnership with service users, families, carers and other professionals in the provision of care.
4. providing services to support shared living schemes
5. supporting vulnerable people in their own homes and acknowledge their personal lifestyle
6. operating within the statutory and regulatory policies, guidelines and procedures.
All Primavera policies and procedures was prepared by Quality Compliance Systems and will be strictly adhered to by both Management and staff of Primavera Care Services Ltd.
Customers can expect an assessment conducted by our Care management to agree on what services will be provided to them. Staff will observe confidentiality and treat everyone with respect and dignity.
A risk assessment and health and safety check will be carried out, where necessary, authorization to assist with medication will be obtained from the customer.
There will be an annual Survey by management as to customer satisfaction with the services.
All primavera staff will be competent and have a minimum of level 2/3 in care .All staff are police checked (DBS) and WILL undergo a Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA) Check
All staff before appointment will have undergone the recruitment process which requires references from previous employers
All staff undergo induction training and ongoing training to carry out their work
According to the ethnic group, religion or nationality of the service user, the Care Worker may be required to assist the service user in planning celebrations / observance of religious or cultural customs and festivals. This may include helping the service user to attend chosen places of worship, and helping with appropriate travel arrangements.
The need for this will have been documented as part of the original service user Care Plan.
Support Workers will remain sensitive to appropriate personal issues of the service user and his / her family or relatives. In particular, issues of race or ethnic origin, creed, culture, colour, religion, age, gender, political affiliation, parenthood, disabilities or sexual orientation will be respected in accordance with the principles of the Organisation’s Equal Opportunities & Diversity Policy (Policy No 106).
At Primavera Domiciliary Care Services our key aim is to ensure that we remain client-focussed. We will therefore strive to ensure that no service user is denied access to our services simply because of any disabilities that they may have. To assist us in meeting the specific needs of our clients we are committed to the following courses of action, as appropriate:
To acquire an understanding of disabilities and impairments. This will assist us in anticipating and addressing barriers that may prevent a service user from fully enjoying our services and facilities.
To make use of new technology, where appropriate, to ensure that individual needs are met.
To modify our procedures and services to meet the individual needs of service user wherever we can.
To ensure that any service user with a disability does not suffer any disadvantages as a result of our procedures that control our services.
